King Avenue Church Weekend Camp

June 28, 2019

JULY 19-21

King Avenue Church will have an entire weekend just for us at Camp Otterbein on July 19-21. Camp Otterbein is about an hour from Columbus in Logan, Ohio, part of the scenic Hocking Hills region. The opportunity to spend the weekend there is open to anyone from King Avenue and their invited guests. (This camping weekend was formerly called “Family Camp” and combined with other churches, but this year we are extending the incredible experience to all King Avenue members during an exclusive weekend for our church only!)
Weekend Camp Programming:
There will be programming available throughout the weekend, but participation is totally up to the individual camper/family for what they want to participate in. Faith messages during devotions/vespers will be led by Scott Seese, Director of Camp Otterbein. King Avenue members are welcome to do one of the messages with prior arrangements with Scott. See Erin for this opportunity.
Registrants can choose their preferred housing and request to be housed with a friend/family.  Cabins/lodge are all air-conditioned and accessible. Treehouses are not air-conditioned and are not wheelchair accessible. If someone wants to bring their own camper or RV, they are welcome to hook up at the camp, too.
Well-behaved, trained pets are allowed at Camp Otterbein outside of the buildings only. If camper is bringing their own camper/RV/tent, and the pet can stay in there while the camper is inside one of the camp buildings (i.e. meals, indoor activity, etc), they are welcome at the camp. Please see Erin for more information or questions.
Cost: $275/family or $100/individual ($30 deposit is required at registration which will be counted towards the total cost of the weekend)
*all meals, housing and activities are included in cost
Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance is available for anyone that needs it (full or partial camperships available). A CAMPERSHIP FORM must be filled out and turned in the Erin prior to registration. I’ve got these available around the church on info tables, but I’m also attaching one here. Once a form is filled out and submitted, I will work directly with the requestor to help them complete their registration. I must be contacted for financial assistance so that I can give the person a code to use during registration that will apply their campership.
