  • Nov 20: Trans Day of Remembrance - On Friday, November 20th, join us for the Columbus Trans Day of Remembrance. We start at 5PM at the gazebo at Goodale Park for a candlelight vigil and brief remarks. At 5:30PM we march to the King Avenue United Methodist Church for a walk-through memorial and art installation by Briden Schueren. Finally, at 9PM we will present a virtual program on YouTube with speakers, artists and performers that you can watch from the safety and comfort of your home. You can pause, rewind, or fast forward, and take it at your own pace. We hope this will be an opportunity to reflect and heal together, as a community. Safety is our top concern, and we ask that you wear a mask and practice social distancing and dress warmly if you choose to join us in person at Goodale Park and King Avenue UMC. If you can’t join in person for whatever reason, that’s perfectly okay. CLICK TO LEARN MORE
