Pastor Becky Piatt

Bishop Palmer has announced that Rev. Becky Piatt will be appointed to serve as our next Senior Pastor. Members of the Staff Pastor Parish Relations Committee had the opportunity to meet with Rev. Piatt and her husband Cameron. She brings with her many years of service in the ministry, a loving spirit and authenticity that will serve us all well. The committee members left the introductory meeting feeling very pleased and excited for this next chapter in our spiritual journey.
 
Rev. Piatt’s  first Sunday with us will  be June 27th, 2021. She is very excited that her next appointment is King Avenue. Please take a moment to read her bio.

Rev. Becky Piatt is an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. She has been in ministry for more than 29 years in a variety of positions. Most recently she has served as the Senior Pastor at Bexley United Methodist Church. She is a graduate of the Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California. In addition, she completed United Methodist Studies at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio. Becky has served on various committees and Boards in the Capital Area North District, including as a mentor for individuals moving into the ordination process in the West Ohio Conference. She loves working with churches and other non-profit organizations using the Gallup StrengthsFinder Assessment, which she has been trained to do. Becky is married to Cameron and they have just celebrated their 31st anniversary in October. They have one child, Caleb, who is 16. They reside in Westerville.
