Open Shelter Lunch Packing Thursday, June 15th
If you are available on Thursday, June 15th 6-6:45pm, please consider coming to the Church to assist in making 200 lunches for the Open Shelter.  We will begin promptly at 6pm putting the sack lunches together in the kitchen (located in the Church basement).  Open Shelter Lunch Packing happens on the Thursday before the third Friday of each month.  This is a great way to meet new people at King Ave while helping to make a difference in our community.

Columbus Pride Parade Saturday, June 17th
The Young Adult group will be marching with the rest of the church in the Pride Parade which is set to step off at 10:30am.  As we get closer to the date we will let everyone know our meeting time and location which hasn’t been announced yet.  We would love a strong show of support from the Young Adults group and hope to march with you on June 17th!

Habitat for Humanity
We are going to be building a new house from the ground up in the Linden area.  There are 3 houses in close proximity being built at the same time, and Hilliard Adopt A House  is partnering with Anheuser Busch on this year's house.  The first day of construction is tentatively June 10, and the "wall raising" ceremony will be a week later on June 17. We are building the house for a single mother and her 2 daughters.
