Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. 

Trans* family, friends, and allies, please read all of the following details carefully: King Avenue United Methodist Church is once again the venue for the Columbus Trans Day of Remembrance on Saturday, November 20th, hosted by T Talks and Columbus Trans Pride March. We are also livestreaming the event on YouTube and we’ll post the link on our Facebook pages. Please be aware: the OSU Buckeyes are playing a home game, so there may be heavy traffic. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 VENUE 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗟𝗬 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗨𝗣 𝗧𝗢 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗜𝗡-𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗚𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗦, so please follow these guidelines: 
  • RSVP 𝗚𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗚 only if you're attending in person. CLICK HERE TO RSVP.

  • Wearing a mask and being vaccinated is 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗗 without exception to attend the in-person event. If you cannot wear a mask or are not vaccinated, please watch the livestream.

The recordingw will also be posted within a week after the event on our YouTube channels including closed captions.

This event is 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 for all trans* family, friends, and allies to attend. Please arrive promptly at 5:45 pm and leave promptly after the event. Due to COVID restrictions, we cannot linger in the venue. The event will begin at 6 pm and end by 7:30 pm.
