Erin Kendall, Director of Children, Youth, and Family Ministries (she, her, hers)
Erin has been a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, beginning her faith journey at Epworth UMC in Massillon, Ohio, actively participating in her local youth group, leading on the District Youth Council, serving on Conference Council on Youth Ministries and as a summer camp counselor for East Ohio Conference throughout her middle and high school years. Erin moved to Westerville in 1994, where studied at Otterbein College, graduating in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Her career prior to King Avenue included marketing, promotions and communications roles in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. Erin and her wife, Kassie, began attending King Avenue in 2010.  They, with their two beautiful daughters, a beloved golden retriever and their sweet cat, live in Westerville.
In her staff role at King Avenue, Erin is responsible for Infant & Toddler Ministries, Family Social Connections, Children & Youth Service Projects, Children, Youth & Family Fellowship, Parents Small Group, Worship Participation (Children’s Music & Acolyting), VBS & Camping Ministry, Family Christmas Eve Service, Meal Train Ministry and Worship & Church Event Nursery Services.  She also teaches Worship Connections, assists with Sunday School and leads monthly Youth Group. Erin loves being a part of the King Avenue community and hopes for everyone to experience warmth and welcoming hospitality that we are so proud of at King Avenue.
