Here at King Avenue, we celebrate diversity. Whether you are Gay, Lesbian or in search of your sexual identity, you are welcomed with the same hearts, minds and appreciation as every other member of our congregation. Two hundred members strong, our Christian Gay, Lesbian & Friends population is an example to all of our devout belief that we are all God’s children. We are all on the same path to spirituality. At King Avenue, we reach out and hold each and every hand that will in turn hold ours, to make the load lighter and the journey safer.

Monthly Luncheon

Please join our Christian Gay, Lesbian & Friends group the third Sunday of each month to share stories, discuss topics of interest and strengthen your bond with our church community.

Social/Outreach

From AIDS Walk to Camp Sunrise to Bravo, we pride ourselves on reaching out to the community to lend support. In addition to helping those who need us, volunteering is also a great opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and make friends.
