Small groups give individuals the opportunity to meet new people, deepen friendships, and grow together in discipleship. Name of Group: FOGG (Fabulous Older Gay Guys)
 We will talk about the things that gay men over 50 face every day in this five week small group.
Day/Time:  Monday nights, 7:00 - 8:30  Our first meeting will meet at KAUMC on 1/23.  We will decide where we will have the other four meetings. Leader:  Duane Fitzpatrick

Meet other GLBT members in our congregation and explore our Christian walk together.

Name of Group: From the Heart: Spreading and Finding Joy through Serving Others
Small group for people of all ages who want to find ways to help others along with an enthusiastic group of like-minded individuals. We will explore different volunteer opportunities that we can take on as a small group several times each month - some may be through the church, other opportunities will be out in the community and maybe even on the other side of the world! Bring your ideas and your enthusiasm!
Day/Time: Wednesday, 7 to 8 p.m. to meet/talk and generate ideas; volunteer/service dates will vary. Leaders: Jill Geiger and Julie Hazelbaker  
 
Name of Group: Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse
While it may be common to focus on how awful it is to be abused, it's important to not lose sight of the reality that survivors are full human beings with many gifts and talents to offer the world. Some of the most sensitive, intuitive, deep, profound, creative, andhopeful people are incest/child sexual abuse survivors. Please join us in this veryimportant group to discuss current challenges and recovery.

 Small group (10-12 people) to explore how we can take care of God’s creation… our Mother Earth…and leave it intact for our children’s children starting with our own actions.
First meeting will be at the church Wednesday, Jan 11 at 7:00 P.M.   We’ll schedule the rest of the meetings at that time.

 Open to all interested in getting to know other Young Adults in a social context and expanding the community of faith at King Ave.  This group is designed to be group-led and could include weekly discussions, social gatherings and community service!
