Abundant Living...with the End in Mind.
Sunday Morning Classes for Adults 10:00-10:45 am
5 sessions, February 3 – March 3 in the Chapel

Ours is a society that faces a unique challenge: how do we engage medical science, legal realities, and the aging – and dying – process while honoring people’s dignity. As United Methodists, our Social Principles speak to The Rights of Aging and Faithful Care for Dying Persons. How do these Principles practically guide us and our values as we journey with others or look at that journey for ourselves? Join the Abundant Health ministry as we take 5 weeks to reflect on these principles, our values, and these questions and seek to shape our own future.

This class will be led by new King Ave UMC member, Rev. Corey Perry, J.D., System Director of Clinical Ethics for OhioHealth. Corey brings his rich background both as a minister/chaplain and an attorney to his work as an ethicist. Class is open to and beneficial for adults of all ages! For questions about the class, contact Virginia Sheffield, Parish Nurse (virgsheffield@aol.com.)
