Auditions for King Avenue Players Production of Perfect Arrangement
Directed by Scott Clay, King Avenue Players proudly announces auditions for "Perfect Arrangement" by Topher Payne on April 19 & 20. Performances are June 4-7. PERFECT ARRANGEMENT presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
Not only does this play open our 2026 season, it also opens the Pride Month Activities and Celebrations at King Avenue UMC! According to the Concord Theatricals website: "Inspired by the true story of the earliest stirrings of the gay rights movement, Perfect Arrangement merges madcap sitcom-style laughs with provocative drama as two closeted U.S. State Department employees struggle to maintain their cover – and their sanity – in 1950s America." PERFECT ARRANGEMENT presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
Auditions are open to Adults (age 18+). Auditionees will be asked to read from the script individually and with the other auditionees in attendance. Scripts will be provided for your use during auditions. Please plan to stay for the whole audition timeslot (6:30-8:30 pm) on your selected day. If callbacks are needed, they are April 21st at 6:30 pm at King Avenue UMC.
The first rehearsal/table read is April 22 at 6:30 pm at King Avenue UMC. Weekly rehearsals are Sundays – Thursdays, 6:30-9:00 pm.
