Safe. Secure. Together.

Communities, congregations and people everywhere all crave a sense of safety when they are together and at home. Incidents of terror and violence  anywhere scare people into changing, and sometimes stopping, the way they interact and with whom they associate. Here at King Ave UMC, we don’t want to allow such fears to interfere with our ability to be a place where all are welcome to convene and share their faith, hopes and dreams, as well as receive the spiritual and physical support they may need. With this in mind, we are working on improving our capacity to make KAUMC a safer place, for all who attend, and a place where being together is not fear-provoking, but instead is uplifting and inspirational.
