Auditions for Shrek the Musical
King Avenue Players proudly announces auditions for "Shrek The Musical" on 08.31.25 and 09.02.25 at King Avenue UMC, 299 King Ave, Columbus, OH 43201. Performances are 10.23.25-10.26.25 at King Ave UMC. Auditions are open to everyone age 10-Adult. Auditionees should prepare 16-32 bars from a musical theatre song that is not from the show. An accompanist will be provided. You may also be asked to read from the script and learn a short dance routine, so please dress comfortably and plan to stay for the whole audition timeslot (3-5:30 pm or 6:30-9 pm) on your selected day.
Schedule for Auditions:
- 08.31.25 from 3-5:30pm, ages 10-17
- 08.31.25 from 6:30-9:00pm, age 18-Adult
- 09.02.25 from 6:30-9:00pm, age 18-Adult
- 09.03.25 from 6:30-9:00pm, Callbacks

The first rehearsal is 09.07.25 at 6:30 pm at King Avenue UMC. Weekly rehearsals are Sundays-Wednesdays, 6:30-9:00 pm.
