*NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS AND QUICKLY-APPROACHING EVENTS*

  • *NEW* Attic Art Treasures - The next exhibit in our gallery will be “Attic Art Treasures” which will be a collection of art from our congregation. If you have a framed piece of art/photograph that is tucked away somewhere in your home, not on display, we would like you to share it. Most importantly, one or two paragraphs about the piece (artist name, why you have it, what it means to you, why you can’t part with it). The exhibit will be on display during February and March. You can drop off the art on Sunday mornings to either Kurt Reichert or the Welcome Center and during the week to Amy Ashburn. The work must be framed and ready to hang with a wire.  Questions? Contact Kurt (kurtfreichert@yahoo.com).

  • THIS SUNDAY, January 21: Blessing Bags - Join us after the 11am service January 21st to assemble Blessing Bags. During this time of the year, many people are houseless and don’t have basic needs. Blessing Bags contain things like gloves, chapstick, water, snacks, etc. (All materials will be provided.) Once we assemble these bags, everyone will take some so you can hand them out to people in need. We suggest keeping them in your car. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall, ALL are welcome!

  • THIS WEDNESDAY, January 24: Q&A About Q and A - What in the world do those letters mean? Join us for an evening of reflection and growth as we answer that question. This is the third in our series of info sessions to learn more about the experiences of folks who identify with one of the letters in "LGBTQIA+" hosted by Rainbow Connections, our LGBTQIA+ ministry. January 24, 7-8:30, join us to learn more about "Q" and "A," and action steps we can each take to love and support our siblings who identify with those letters. REGISTER HERE

We'll gather at the church building for class on Saturday, Feb. 10, 9am-1pm, then we'll welcome you into membership in worship the next day on Feb. 11. If you're interested and/or have any questions, contact Pastor Andy at andy@kingave.org.
