*NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS AND QUICKLY-APPROACHING EVENTS*

  • DROP OFF BY JANUARY 28: Attic Art Treasures - The next exhibit in our gallery will be “Attic Art Treasures” which will be a collection of art from our congregation. If you have a framed piece of art/photograph that is tucked away somewhere in your home, not on display, we would like you to share it. Most importantly, one or two paragraphs about the piece (artist name, why you have it, what it means to you, why you can’t part with it). The exhibit will be on display during February and March. You can drop off the art on Sunday mornings to either Kurt Reichert or the Welcome Center and during the week to Amy Ashburn. The work must be framed and ready to hang with a wire.  Questions? Contact Kurt (kurtfreichert@yahoo.com).

  • THIS SUNDAY, January 28: Lit Club - The next Lit Club will be Sunday, January 28. Start reading now to allow plenty of time to read The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese. It's a much longer book than usual, but promises to be worth the investment of time! If you'd like to come to Lit Club, just read the book of the month and come to church at 7:00pm to talk about it. All are welcome!

KEEP READING FOR THE REST OF OUR CURRENT HAPPENINGS AND NEWS...

  • Five-Week Sermon Series - On Sunday, we will begin a sermon series for the next 5 weeks. The series is called Rediscovering our Methodist Roots. Roots give us the stability and nourishment we need to grow and break new ground. As we seek to grow in our faith as individuals and as the church, looking back at the deep roots of the Methodist movement can help us look forward to our future. More than mere traditions or rituals, our Methodist roots are evidence of God’s Spirit moving through our history, the same Spirit who is breathing life into us today.
