Retirees Nature Tour - Wednesday, June 26
Meet at the Nature Center at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park at 11:30 - 1415 Darby Creek Dr, Galloway OH 43119. Deb (our naturalist) will talk to us about the beautiful Big Darby Creek ecosystem and its importance to our region, then escort us on a short walk to the summer viewing area for the bison herd. The latest addition to the herd was born at the end of May, so hopefully we'll be able to see the calf! At 12:30, we will drive ½ mile south to the Cedar Ridge picnic area for lunch. All should bring their own lunch, drink, and cooler.
