April 1, 2022

Sex Ed Workshop for Parents/Caregivers
Saturday, April 30 from 9:30-12:30

How do you talk to your kids about sex? Participate in this workshop to get advice and support so you can be there for your kids the way they need you to be.

This introductory workshop is designed for the parents and caregivers of children/youth of any age. Along with a group of college students, Gwendolyn DeRosa (Director of Student Ministries), will discuss aspects of sex education, such as inclusive vocabulary for gender and sexuality, what to discuss at developmental stages, supporting LGBTQIA+ kids, and talking about porn with your teens.

This interactive program will end at noon, unless you sign up for lunch. Lunch will be from 12:30 to 1:30 pm and is not mandatory. You must register for lunch by April 25th. Lunch is $10 per person.

If you do not want to stay for lunch, the workshop is free. Simply put in the code "NO LUNCH" and you will not pay.

This workshop is designed for adults only. No childcare will be provided.
