Hearts Strangely Lukewarm... Methodism's Struggle with White Supremacy (in-person class)
January 21, 2026, 7:00 pm For all the blessings of our faith tradition, we also have an ugly past. If we want to transform the world to a better future for all people, we must come to terms with that ugly past. Join us for a 5-week study of the book Our Hearts Were Strangely Lukewarm by John Elford to learn together about Methodism's struggle with white supremacy, the enduring impacts of racism in the church today, and how we can continue ridding ourselves of this disease. Two options: Tuesdays at noon on Zoom, or Wednesdays at 7pm at the church. Participants are responsible for obtaining a copy of the book.
