Rhonda was born and raised a United Methodist, and landed at King Avenue in 2002. She is active in the music ministry where she sings in the Chancel Choir and Blenders ensemble. Aside from music ministries, many of the ministries have spoken to her over the years - King Avenue Players, mission trip to Mexico, Storytellers, Spectrum, Women's Walk to Emmaus, and several faith formation classes to mention a few. The most important part of King Avenue is that ALL are welcome. She appreciates being able to worship authentically as a full part of of this faith community, and do so with her wife, Susan. Outside of King Avenue, Rhonda is a retired Technology Learning Coach in Dublin Schools.
The Director of Online Ministries was born out of a committee formed in 2009 to search for a new web editing platform. Rhonda was involved in this work, then felt called to apply for the position that was created. This position provides an opportunity for communicating not only with congregants, but also as an outreach into the community. The website and social media help represent who King Avenue is, and what we stand for. Rhonda is honored to be a part of something big!
