United Methodist Women

United Methodist Women is the largest denominational faith organization for women in the US with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders, and advocating for justice.
The purpose of the United Methodist Women is:
  • To know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ.
  • To develop a creative supportive fellowship.
  • To expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
The King Avenue United Methodist Women’s major fund raiser is a biannual rummage sale.  Proceeds from our sales are donated to local, national, and international organizations. With your purchases, we are blessed to be able to give to some worthy organizations.
Here are some organizations we have supported:

  • Family Life Center/YWCA – Columbus, Ohio
  • Henderson Settlement – Frakes, Kentucky
  • Gracehaven Home – Dublin, OH
