Why Methodist? For a reconciling congregation in a non-reconciling denomination, the question, “Why Methodist?” is as relevant now as it ever has been. During January and February 10-11 am adult education in the Chapel will focus on some distinctive features of our Methodist heritage.

The Concept of Grace in Methodist Spirituality— from Select Hymns of Charles and John Wesley

Sundays in January and February, 10:00-11:00
Revival, by Adam Hamilton, will tell the story of the places and influences that shaped John Wesley, the founder of the “Methodist” movement.  These six sessions each focus on a different stage of the development of Wesley’s passionate call from God as they unfolded in different locations in 18th century England. The sessions will be travelogue, history, and Bible study—all to illumine the passionate spirituality at the roots of the Methodist Church.
