Retiree Luncheon & Program
August 21, 2019, 11:00 am
The monthly gathering for KAUMC retirees/semi-retirees is Wednesday, August 21, from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall. Our general topic will be the amazing gifts that animal companions provide us. KAUMC member Adam Richmond, who is a former Security Forces K-9 in the US Air Force and current Pilot Dogs Trainer, will be our guest speaker. The mission of Pilot Dogs is to improve the general condition of blind persons, and other persons living with disabilities, who would benefit from the services of trained Pilot Dogs and Assistance (Hearing) Dogs. The organization trains dogs to become Pilot Dogs and Hearing Assistance Dogs. Adam will speak about his role in the beautiful process of guiding a puppy to become a highly effective human helper, truly man’s best friend. You won’t want to miss it! Bring a photo of a favorite pet, if you have one!

Because lunch is included, advance registration is necessary, by Monday, August 19th.
Suggested donation for lunch is $8.

You can register for the August event by emailing Angela Finney, finneyhorse@icloud.com or call- ing the church office and leaving a message. Please indicate, when registering, if you need transportation assistance.
