Bishop Palmer has appointed Rev. Andy Burns as our associate pastor effective June 27th. Please take a moment to read his bio.
Andy Burns is a Provisional Elder, commissioned in 2020. He is a graduate of the Methodist Theological School in Ohio (M.Div., 2018) and Ohio Northern University (B.A. in Music, 2015). Andy has had the joy of serving three churches prior to King Avenue - Alger First UMC, 2014-2017; Church of the Messiah, 2017-2018; and Church of the Saviour, 2018 - present. Andy met his partner, Lauren, at ONU when they were both students there. They married in 2017. Lauren is an Occupational Therapist, working at a skill nursing facility in Pickerington. They have a dog named Doc and a cat named Leo. In his free time, Andy plays trumpet, walks his dog, takes orders from his cat and watches and reads anything from the Star Wars universe.
