Pastor Colleen

March 27, 2021

Dear Friends,
Last Sunday evening I had an introduction to the Staff Parish Relations Committee of Bexley United Methodist Church where I will begin an appointment as their pastor June 27, 2021.  My last Sunday at King Ave UMC will be Sunday, May 30.  My heart is full of nothing but gratitude for the blessing of being in ministry with you for the past seven years!  I also am excited to start a new challenge with the people of Bexley UMC.  I am confident that King Ave UMC has a bright future under the gracious leadership of Rev. Becky Piatt and whomever the cabinet appoints as my replacement.  We will have time to say our good-byes before May 30; please know that I requested this move as Rick and I are ready to embrace a new adventure and to share some of what we’ve learned during our time at King Avenue Church.

In peace with love,
Colleen
