The United Methodist Church: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow is a 4-week study designed to help participants better understand the current controversy within the United Methodist Church; specifically about the denomination’s relationship with our LGBTQIA+ siblings. Now that the General Conference has been postponed to 2024, therefore also postponing any resolution to the controversy, this is a perfect time for a class like this.
This study was written by the Reconciling Ministries Network team of the Alabama-West Florida Conference of the UMC, a group of laity and clergy who:
- Want to stay in our beloved UMC! And ...
- Aspire for a more just and inclusive denomination where ALL are truly welcome.
These sessions are designed to help us listen and to learn from each other, seeking nothing more than God’s will. Thank you again for caring enough to think and pray with us about these important issues facing the UMC.
