Come to King Avenue on Saturday, Aug. 19 (9am-11:30am) to join a conversation and learn how to accept, love, and help our friends who need it the most. We will also take action and put together bags with much-needed supplies for these friends. Check-in for the event is at 8:45am. Bill helped to recap the recent West Ohio Annual Conference. This announcement was made on behalf of the King Avenue leadership who attended the 3-day conference. Although there were some difficult times during the conference, the overall shift towards full inclusion was apparent. At King Avenue, we emphatically state that God’s love is for ALL people. For all of us who have wondered if the United Methodist Church in West Ohio itself really welcomes all, we have our answer! We now know that in this church AND in the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church, our sentiments are that ALL ARE WELCOME. CLICK HERE FOR THE TRANSCRIPT OF HIS ANNOUNCEMENT

  • Organ Music - You may have noticed recently that Andrew Willis, our talented organist and pianist, hasn’t been playing the organ.  He has recently been treating symptoms of tinnitus, which can be triggered by certain sounds and frequencies.  As he tries to determine the source of his condition, we are taking steps to alleviate his symptoms.  We are fortunate to have Janet Reichert and Gary Miller available to play when needed and Andrew will continue to play the piano. Andrew and the staff appreciate your understanding and prayers as we work through treatment options. We’ll keep you posted on his progress.
